Emma Watson’s powerful #HeForShe speech inspired Brit band Peace’s new song I’m A Girl.

NME was told by the band’s Front Man Harry Koisser that he started thinking about gender stereotypes after he found himself unable to identify with modern lad culture.

The speech Ms. Watson as UN ambassador for women gave, called to both sexes to help eradicate gender inequality.

Quotes from Harry Koisser:

“Once, I was waiting for someone on Digbeth High Street, wearing a fur coat,” said Koisser. “Two Irish guys came up to me and were like, ‘You’re a queer, come here and let me kick you in your balls.’ So many things you can tell me to come here for and I will, but not that.

“I think I’m A Girl is a bit regressive, though – I think I was thinking how I used to feel. Now I’ve just learnt to live with it.”

The Track shows the band’s dissatisfaction at the narrow parameters society enforces on men and women.

The chorus reads:

“Do you feel like a man/
Cause you got blood on your hand/
If we’re living in a man’s world/
I’m a girl, I’m a girl, I’m a girl”

Emma hasn’t given her opinion on the song yet.
