Emma Watson posted a lovely note to Carell during the Oscars on Sunday (Feb. 22), complimenting both his film roles and his sartorial choice. See Emma’s Twitter post below and Steve Carell’s response to her note.

Dear Steve Carell,
You were pure genius in “Little Miss Sunshine” (one of my all time favourite films), my brother became obsessed with you after “Anchorman,” I wanted to marry you or have you adopt me after “Crazy, Stupid, Love,” I hated that guy you played in “The Way Way Back,” and then you were mind-blowing in “Foxcatcher” and I think you’re so awesome and now you are wearing #HeForShe cufflinks at the Oscars to support Gender Equality. Couldn’t be more proud.
Thank you. Love, Emma x
Thanks @EmWatson. An honor to support #HeForShe and gender equality.

Emma Watson’s powerful #HeForShe speech inspired Brit band Peace’s new song I’m A Girl.
NME was told by the band’s Front Man Harry Koisser that he started thinking about gender stereotypes after he found himself unable to identify with modern lad culture.
The speech Ms. Watson as UN ambassador for women gave, called to both sexes to help eradicate gender inequality.
Quotes from Harry Koisser:
“Once, I was waiting for someone on Digbeth High Street, wearing a fur coat,” said Koisser. “Two Irish guys came up to me and were like, ‘You’re a queer, come here and let me kick you in your balls.’ So many things you can tell me to come here for and I will, but not that.
“I think I’m A Girl is a bit regressive, though – I think I was thinking how I used to feel. Now I’ve just learnt to live with it.”
The chorus reads:
“Do you feel like a man/
Cause you got blood on your hand/
If we’re living in a man’s world/
I’m a girl, I’m a girl, I’m a girl”
Emma hasn’t given her opinion on the song yet.
Forbes’ released their 30 Under 30 in Hollywood List for 2015 and Emma Watson is on it.
The reason for her getting onto the list is no surprise, because of her big impact on feminism.
Way to go Emma, congrats!
